The Decision In Front Of You

When a packaged ERP is the wrong purchase

Most companies that reach this page have already evaluated a product and found the gap. These are the six reasons they tell us they stopped.

    01

    The product dictates the process

You configure inside the boundaries the vendor allows, then rewrite your approval chains to fit their model. The further your process sits from the vendor average, the more that costs.

    02

    Customisation quoted, then capped

Customisation on a packaged ERP has a ceiling, and you hit it at the exact point where your competitive difference lives. That is rarely the part you want to standardise.

    03

    No source code, no exit

You hold a licence, not an asset. Renewal pricing is set by someone else and migrating away means starting over. A custom build is a capital asset you own.

    04

GST handled as a regional add-on

Global products treat Indian tax as a localisation layer. GSTR filing, e-invoicing, e-way bills, reverse charge and multi-GSTIN are first-class in an ERP designed here.

    05

Five systems that do not speak

Accounts in one place, stock in a spreadsheet, production on paper. Every report becomes a manual reconciliation and no number goes unchallenged in the meeting.

    06

    Per-user licences that punish growth

Headcount growth turns into a recurring software bill. A custom ERP has no per-seat licence, so adding the next forty users costs infrastructure, not fees.

    Scope

    ERP modules we develop

Modular by design. Start with the process that hurts most, add the rest once the first is live and the numbers are trusted.

    Finance & accounting

General ledger, receivables and payables, bank reconciliation, cost and profit centres, multi-entity consolidation, fixed assets, full audit trail on every entry.

    GST & statutory compliance

GSTR-1 generation, GSTR-3B reconciliation, GSTR-9 preparation, e-invoicing with IRN, e-way bills, HSN and SAC mapping, TDS and TCS, reverse charge, multi-GSTIN.

    Inventory & warehouse

Multi-location stock, batch and serial traceability, reorder rules, stock ageing, goods receipt and issue, cycle counting, barcode and handheld scanner support.

    Production & manufacturing

Bill of materials, work orders, routing and machine allocation, job costing, work-in-progress visibility, scrap and yield, shop floor data capture.

    Purchase & vendor management

Indents with approval workflow, request for quotation and comparison, purchase orders, three-way matching against receipt and invoice, vendor rating history.

    Sales, CRM & dispatch

Enquiry to order pipeline, quotations and price lists, order fulfilment, dispatch documentation, credit limits, outstanding and collection follow-up.

    HR & payroll

Attendance and shift rosters, leave workflow, payroll with statutory deductions, provident fund and employees state insurance, appraisals, employee self-service.

    Reporting & dashboards

Role-based dashboards, drill-down from summary to source document, scheduled report delivery, exports that finance and your auditor can actually use.

    Integrations

Banking and payment gateways, courier and logistics providers, e-commerce storefronts, Tally for transition periods, and any internal system with an API.

    How We Work

From first call to live ERP

A big-bang cutover is the most reliable way to fail an ERP project. We sequence it so something real is in production inside the first quarter.

    01
    Week 1 to 2

    Free ERP needs assessment

We map how the work actually runs today, including the workarounds, because the workarounds are where the real requirements hide. You get a written assessment whether or not you proceed.

    Deliverable: Written Needs Assessment
    02
    48 Hours

    Dedicated team assembled

Named engineers, a project manager and a domain lead allocated to you. You meet them before you sign, not after.

    Deliverable: Named Team Allocated
    03
    Week 2 to 3

    Module plan and fixed quote

Which module goes first and why, what phase one includes and excludes, what it costs, when it goes live. In writing, before anybody writes code.

    Deliverable: Itemised Scope & Quote
    04
    Week 3 to 12

    Agile build with weekly demos

You see the working module every week and correct course while correcting is still cheap. Daily written progress reports, so you are never chasing an update.

    Deliverable: Sprints & Daily Status
    05
    Go-live

    Parallel run, then switch

The new module runs alongside the existing process until the numbers reconcile. Nothing is switched off until you say so, and there is a documented rollback position.

    Deliverable: Parallel Reconciled Cutover
    06
    90 Days

    Hypercare, then handover

The team that built it supports it through hypercare. Training, documentation and full source handover. You can continue with us, take it in-house, or move to another partner.

Deliverable: Hypercare & 100% IP Transfer
    Commercials

    Three ways to engage

We recommend the model during the assessment, based on how well defined your scope actually is. A fixed price on a vague scope helps nobody.

Model Best when Commercials Typical duration
Single module build One process is clearly the bottleneck and you want proof before committing further Fixed price 8 to 12 weeks
Phased full ERP You are replacing a whole stack and can sequence it by department Fixed price per phase 6 to 18 months
Dedicated ERP team Continuous build plus enhancement, with the backlog directed by you Monthly rate per engineer Rolling, 30 days notice

In every model the source code, the database schema and the documentation are yours, the system runs on infrastructure you control, and your data stays exportable in standard formats. There is no per-user licence and no annual renewal you cannot walk away from.

    Our Commitments

What you get in writing, before any code is written

We cannot show you another company’s ERP, and most of our clients would not want us to. What we can do is put the things that usually go wrong into the contract, in advance.

    🔐
    Milestone 1 Guarantee

100% source code ownership, from milestone one

Source code, database schema and documentation transfer to you at every milestone, not at project close. Written as a clause, not promised on a call. We retain no right to reuse any component for another client.

    Contractual clause
    📋
    Scope Guarantee

A fixed, itemised scope before development starts

What phase one includes, what it excludes, what it costs and the date it goes live. Agreed in writing first. Scope additions are priced and approved separately before the work begins.

    Zero scope creep
    📊
    Visibility Guarantee

    Daily written progress reports

You are never chasing an update and never finding out about a slip at the demo. If something is blocked, you hear it the day it is blocked, with what we need from you to clear it.

    Daily PM reports
    👥
    Team Allocation

A named team you meet before you sign

Engineers, project manager and domain lead allocated and introduced during the assessment. You are not handed to a different team after the contract is signed.

    Named experts
    🛡️
    Deployment Safety

A documented rollback position at go-live

Before any cutover there is a written, tested position to return to. Nothing is switched off until the new system and the existing process reconcile for a full cycle and you sign it off.

    Parallel run tested
    🩺
    Post-Launch Support

90 days of hypercare from the people who built it

The same team supports the live system through stabilisation. Then documentation, configuration records and runbooks are handed over, so your team or another partner can take it on.

    Hypercare included
    💾
    Data Sovereignty

    Your data stays exportable, always

Standard formats, on demand, including after the engagement ends. There is no per-user licence, no annual renewal you cannot walk away from, and no commercial lever over your own records.

    Zero vendor lock-in
    📝
    Legal Protection

NDA signed before any technical discussion

Not after the proposal, not at contract stage. Before you describe your process to us in any detail. Your brief is never shared with anyone outside the assigned team.

    Day-1 NDA
    📑
    Zero Obligation

An assessment you keep, whatever you decide

The written output of the needs assessment is yours whether or not you engage us. If the honest conclusion is that you should buy a packaged product instead, that is what it will say.

    Unbiased assessment

Every item above is a contractual commitment, not a marketing claim. Ask us to point to the clause during the assessment and we will.

      FAQ

Questions every serious ERP buyer asks

Direct, transparent answers regarding source code, pricing, GST compliance and our engineering engagement models.

You do, and from the first milestone rather than at project close. Source code, database schema, documentation and associated assets transfer to you, as a written clause in the contract.

We retain no right to reuse any component of your ERP for another client.
A packaged ERP is built for an average company in your sector. You configure within the boundaries the vendor allows and adapt your process to their model.

A custom build starts from your approval chains, your costing logic and your reporting requirements, with no constraints inherited from a pre-existing product. The honest trade-off is that a product is faster to start and cheaper upfront. If your process is genuinely standard, we will say so during the assessment.
Needs assessment takes one to two weeks. First module in production with real users is typically 8 to 10 weeks from there. A full multi-module ERP runs 3 to 6 months for standard scope and 6 to 12 months for larger enterprise builds.

You are not waiting for the end date to get value, because each phase goes live as it completes.
It is driven by module count, user count and integration complexity, not by a per-seat price. We quote a firm number after the needs assessment rather than guessing on the first call, and for well-scoped projects we will quote fixed price.

Scope additions after that are priced separately and agreed before the work starts, so the number you sign is the number you pay.
Yes, and migration is a planned work package in the project rather than an afterthought. We handle Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, legacy custom systems and Excel.

Masters such as items, customers, vendors and the chart of accounts migrate in full. We cleanse, map and validate before cutover so you are not importing existing errors into a new system.
GSTR-1 generation, GSTR-3B reconciliation, GSTR-9 preparation, e-invoicing with IRN generation, e-way bill integration, HSN and SAC mapping, TDS and TCS handling, reverse charge and multi-GSTIN support.

Statutory changes are handled during the support period. Confirm your specific filing pattern with us during scoping so it is written into the scope.
On your own server or in your own cloud account. You hold the database. We do not host your production data on our infrastructure unless you ask us to, and it remains exportable on demand either way.
Ninety days of hypercare from the same team that built the system, covering issues, performance tuning and urgent enhancements. After that, an optional monthly retainer with defined response times and a named support engineer.

If you would rather not retain us, the documentation and source are yours and another team can pick it up.
